1,000 Smiles campaign held to spread kindness ahead of Deepavali


Under the ‘1,000 Smiles’ campaign, Bharathi Meraki, a wealth and asset management firm and GTB (a next-generation joint venture of GT Realty and Bharathi Meraki) celebrated Deepavali with Sishya School, Adyar, and Sri Arunodayam Foundation, a non-profit for abandoned children with intellectual disabilities.

Students of Sishya School distributed sweets to children of Sri Arunodayam Foundation and they all also exchanged gifts with each other, according to a press release. Arun Bharathi, founder and managing director, Bharathi Meraki and GTB Development Pvt. Ltd., said, “Through the ‘1000 Smiles’ campaign, we wanted to remind ourselves that real progress is not just about growth, but about giving back. We believe that every smile we share is a step towards a more compassionate world and it reflects our commitment to building a culture of empathy and shared joy where kindness is the brightest light we can spread.”
