As the city grapples with a tightening squeeze on cooking gas supplies , local authorities have launched raids to curb the illegal diversion of domestic gas cylinders to commercial businesses.
On Thursday, March 12, the District Civil Supply Department conducted a special drive across Visakhapatnam Circle-II areas, including MVP Colony, and seized 34 domestic LPG cylinders from 14 different commercial establishments.
