
Morning fog envelops the Charminar area in Hyderabad as winter intensifies on Sunday (December 21, 2025)

Telangana continues to record low temperatures under the impact of the ongoing cold wave. The lowest temperature of 5°C was recorded in Kohir of Sangareddy between Sunday (December 21, 2025) and Monday morning. Less than 10°C was recorded in 14 districts. And, the minimum temperature was not more than 12.5°C in any of the districts.
The lowest of 5°C in Sangareddy was followed by 6.9°C in Moinabad of Rangareddy 7.0°C in Nawabpet of Vikarabad. The Minimum temperature in Hyderabad was 7.2°C in Maredpally and 9.1°C in Uppal of Medchal Malkajgiri, according to Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS).
People in the State may continue to experience chilly weather as India Meteorological Department has forecast cold wave conditions to prevail at isolated pockets in Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy on Monday.
Hyderabad and its surroundings may witness fog or misty conditions during morning hours. “Mist/hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning or night hours. Minimum temperatures are likely to be below normal by 2°C to 3°C during next 2 days,” as per the forecast issued on Sunday.
