Three arrested for stealing cow, calf in Erode

Three persons involved in stealing a cow and a calf from a farm in Gobichettipalayam were arrested here on Monday (March 9, 2026).

Police said the theft recently occurred at a farm belonging to S. Sadasivam, 48, of Indira Nagar under the Gobichettipalayam police station limits. Based on a complaint that a cow and a calf had been stolen from his farm, the police registered a case and launched an investigation.
