Brianna LaPaglia Sets Record Straight on Ozempic Comments

Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia is clarifying her controversial comments about Ozempic use.

“OK, so just about every news outlet posted this today,” LaPaglia, 26, said in a Thursday, March 12, TikTok video, sharing screenshots of reports about another recent video in which she told Ozempic users they were “all gonna die.”

In her follow-up video, LaPaglia clarified that she was only referring to “skinny bitches” who use Ozempic but do not need it.

“I’m a skinny bitch,” the influencer continued. “I’m talking size 2, size 0 girls going on Ozempic, or whatever the f*** version of it that they’re on. When I say you’re gonna die, I mean, it’s because you are literally starving yourself. If anything, you need to gain weight.”

The Skinnygirl founder has spoken. Bethenny Frankel expressed concerns about people using the type 2 diabetes medication Ozempic solely for weight loss. “This is going to be scary because very thin people who have body dysmorphia and eating disorders are going to be taking this,” the Real Housewives of New York City alum, 52, said […]

LaPaglia added that if someone “needs” Ozempic, they should take the medication, noting that it “changed” her aunt’s and cousin’s lives.

“They needed it,” she concluded. “You bitches that are size 2 and size 0, it’s f***ed up. And yeah, you’re all gonna die, not because of the Ozempic, but because you’re gonna be malnourished and you’re gonna faint and you’re gonna hit your head. Do I need to repeat myself?”

LaPaglia caused a stir on Tuesday, March 10, when she posted a TikTok video addressing those who use Ozempic, a type 2 diabetes drug that is often prescribed off-label for weight loss.

“No tea, no shade, no hate, just some field research,” the Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test star said. “Every single bitch I know is on Ozempic. People that do not need Ozempic. It’s like if I did Ozempic. Could I lose a couple? Surely. Do I need Ozempic? No!”

LaPaglia then told people who use the drug and do not need it, “You’re gonna die. You’re all gonna die.”

Her viral comments sparked backlash from fans and fellow celebrities.

“Someone should revoke her medical license. Oh wait …” plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow, who has been a vocal advocate for Ozempic in the past, commented on Us Weekly’s Instagram post about the video.

“Ah yes Dr. Chickenfry,” comedian Chris Burns wrote.

“I don’t think anyone that goes by ‘chicken fry’ is someone I trust,” a fan added, while another person wrote, “It’s always someone skinny mad that other people are getting skinny bc they realize that being skinny is all they have 🙃.”

However, others agreed with LaPaglia. “I mean she’s technically not wrong,” one user wrote.

“People act like she’s wrong,” another person commented.
