Malabar Gold & Diamonds, a jewellery retailer, has announced a major retail expansion with the launch of 20 new showrooms before March 31, 2026, marking one of the fastest showroom rollout initiatives in the Indian jewellery 

With this, the total global showroom count of the company will increase to 445 across 14 countries, with presence in 22 states and Union Territories in India.

The expansion entails a total investment of ₹1,580 crore and is expected to generate over 725 jobs, the company said in a statement.

The expansion comes at a time when gold prices are riding high and have increased abnormally indicating buyers’ interest in the yellow metal. 

The new showrooms will be launched at Jhansi, Kallakurichy, Gwalior, Chittoor, Haldwani, Theni, Jamnagar, Ranchi, VIP Road Kolkata, Aligarh, KR Puram (Bengaluru), Inorbit Mall Vizag, Kanchrapara, Serampore, Gokul Road Hubli, Maninagar, Gurugram  Sector 14, Jubilee Hills (Hyderabad), Sangareddy and Guwahati.
