The Thanjavur Corporation has received around 250 rain-related complaints in the city, according to Mayor S. Ramanathan.
He said that 250 complaints had been received through the toll-free number 1800-425-1100 so far and of this, 220 complaints had been attended by the civic body workers.
Rescue shelters had been set up at nine places and four rescue teams formed, he added.
