Cosplay in Australia just keeps getting better and there are so many opportunities to admire the amazing work of crafters, creatives and hobbyists.
I recently Minion-suited up and adventured over to the Sydney leg of Supanova Comic Con for the very first time. There I found hundreds of epic costumes, excited groups of fans and admirers of comics, games, movies, TV shows and more.
Now, while I couldn’t capture absolutely everything, I went on a mini deep dive with a few cosplayers to find out more about their costumes, their process and how they got started. Here are some of the incredible (and fun) outfits I captured on the day:
