IIM Bangalore ranked no. 1 in India, Central Asia at Eduniversal 2025


Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) has been ranked first in India and Central Asia at the 18th Eduniversal World Convention held at IIM Indore from November 10 to 13. The institute received the 5 Palmes Emeritus distinction, which is given to business schools that have stayed in the top 5 Palmes of Excellence League for more than 10 years. 

IIMB also received the gold trophy for placing first in the Central Asia region, supported by a Dean’s Recommendation rate of 341%. It is one of two Indian business schools with the 5 Palmes Emeritus status and one of three to receive the 5 Palmes of Excellence in the country. 

The awards were received by Dinesh Kumar, director in charge, and professor Mukta Kulkarni, Dean of Programmes. Prof. Dinesh said the institute’s programmes continue to perform well compared to global benchmarks and that its position in the Eduniversal rankings reflects continuous efforts to improve.
