Bengaluru’s Dhruvh Goswami, representing Team MSport, finished on top of the podium in both the races and emerged champion in the premier LGB Formula 4 class of the 28th JK Tyre-FMSCI National Racing Championship at the Kari Motor Speedway in Chettipalayam on Sunday.
Eight points separated Dhruvh (45) from championship leader and Dark Don Racing star T.S. Diljith (53) after two tough rounds. But Dhruvh, last year’s rookie champion, reduced it with a strong finish on Saturday and further hit the top gear when it mattered most to seal the title with an eight-point margin.
“I was facing a few issues with car. We lost power but still managed to bring the car to the finish line. Luckily, we had a good lead at the start. It was nice to finish the championship with a title victory,” said an elated Dhruvh.
Bengaluru’s Anish D. Shetty clinched the Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup presented by JK Tyre title with miles to spare.
