Actor Sonu Sood has pledged support to the family of a 10-month-old boy whose mother was shot dead during poll-related violence in Dullamchak village in Bihar on November 6. The actor announced that he would take responsibility for the child’s education, continuing his ongoing efforts to help families in crisis.

The case was brought to Sonu Sood’s attention through a video call by Ashutosh Kumar, national president of the Bhumihar-Brahmin Ekta Manch Foundation. Moved by the situation, Sood assured that the Sood Charity Foundation would cover the child’s education “from KG to PG,” offering long-term support.
Ashutosh Kumar later shared the news publicly, expressing gratitude for the actor’s response. He noted that Sood quickly committed to helping the child after learning about the incident.
As the family continues to seek justice and cope with their loss, Sonu Sood’s decision has provided a measure of reassurance about the child’s future. His support added stability during a difficult time and reflected his ongoing commitment to humanitarian work.
