A new poster of ‘Toxic’ featuring Yash.

The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, starring Yash, have kicked-started the countdown to its grand release on March 19, 2026, with exactly 100 days remaining. The film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, is one of the most anticipated releases of 2026.
By sticking to its scheduled release date, Toxic has confirmed it box office clash with Dhurandhar 2. The second instalment of the hit violence-heavy espionage thriller — starring Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar — will also release on March 19, 2026.
On December 09, 2025, the makers released an intense poster featuring Yash. In the poster, the KGF star is presented in a rugged look in a bloody bathtub, flexing his chiselled biceps. His body is adorned with tattoos, offering hints about his character.
Toxic is set to release during a significant festive period, overlapping with Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Eid, which offers a strong four-day holiday box-office window. Along with the poster, the team announced the technical team of the pan-Indian movie.
The cinematography is led by National Award winner Rajeev Ravi, while the music is composed by Ravi Basrur, known for his previous collaboration with Yash on the KGF films. Ujwal Kulkarni, who edited KGF: Chapter 2, oversees the editing of Toxic.

TP Abid is in charge of production design while Mohan B Kere is the art director. Bringing an international touch, Hollywood action director JJ Perry, celebrated for his work on John Wick, has crafted some of the film’s most significant action sequences.
Written by Yash and Geetu , Toxic has been filmed simultaneously in English and Kannada. The movie will also be dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and more. The film is produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the banners KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations respectively.
