A 21-year-old woman was killed on Wednesday after a tractor hit the scooty she was commuting with her father, who was riding pillion in north-east Delhi’s Karawal Nagar, the police said. The incident occurred when the tractor driver tried to overtake the two-wheeler following which the driver of the tractor fled the scene, said the police. The victim’s body has been shifted to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital for post-mortem examination. A case under relevant sections of the BNS and Motor Vehicles Act has been registered at Karawal Nagar police station and multiple teams have been formed to arrest the driver who remains at large.
