A massive fire broke out at an industrial building near Kallayi in Kozhikode city on Monday evening. Fire and Rescue Services units from all the city stations reached the spot to manage the blaze.
Local residents said the flames were noticed in the industrial area located closer to the railway track around 8 p.m. Even after an hour, the rescue teams could not bring the situation under control.
Following security concerns, the power supply was disconnected in the area. Rescue squad members said they were yet to ascertain the reason behind the incident.
