The Mangaluru police have arrested two persons for allegedly selling drugs in Padavu and Munnuru villages.
In a statement, the police said the Mangaluru East Police arrested Jude Mathew, 20, of Ernakulam in Kerala State, on Saturday, January 17, after he was found selling narcotic drugs near Shri Durga Parameshwari Bhajana Mandir in Kailash Colony of Padavu village in Mangaluru Taluk. The police seized 5.2 grams of MDMA and the motorcycle used by Mathew.
On January 16, the Ullal police arrested Imthiyaz,40, of Sajipa Munnuru post in Bantwal taluk of Dakshina Kannada. He was found selling narcotic drugs near Ranipura ground in Munnuru village of Ullal taluk. The police said 13 grams of MDMA and a mobile phone were seized from Imtiyaz.
