Valedictory ceremony of Samastha’s centenary meet on February 4


The valedictory ceremony of the Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama’s centenary conference will begin on February 4 at Kuniya Varakkal Mullakkoya Thangal Nagar. The theme of the centenary celebrations is ‘Adarsha Vishuddhi Noottandukalil’ (A century of ideological integrity and sanctity).

Addressing the media, Sayyid Muhammad Jifri Muthukoya Thangal, president of the Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Leader of the Opposition V.D. Satheesan, scholars, and foreign delegates, and representatives of various socio-cultural fields will attend the valedictory event.

He said five venues had been set up for the event, including a delegate camp, global expo, global Ulama conclave, national education conclave, and public meetings. Karnataka Haj Minister Rahim Khan will inaugurate the global expo on January 30.

He said that on February 4, a procession with flags will begin from Thalangara to the conference venue, where the Samastha president will hoist the main flag, followed by the hoisting of 99 flags by Samastha leaders.
