The BorgWarner Cooling Systems donated 50 battery-powered wheelchairs to beneficiaries through the TNDFC Trust in the city
on Wednesday.

R. Theivanai, a person with locomotor disability from Mayiladuthurai district, said she can now be independent on the road and at workplace, after receiving a newly customised NeoMotion wheelchair for indoor mobility that can also act as a battery powered electric vehicle for outdoor mobility.
The Tamil Nadu Differently Abled Federation Charitable (TNDFC) Trust distributed 50 NeoMotion wheelchairs to its beneficiaries. The wheelchairs can be customised according to each person’s needs, and sponsored by BorgWarner Cooling Systems India Pvt. Ltd. at a cost of ₹75 lakh.
