The Dharmasthala police have arrested Tammaiah, who had failed to appear before the jurisdictional court for more than 10 years in a criminal case registered against him
In a press release, the police said Tammaiah was arrested for theft of petrol from Petronet pipeline in 2010. After getting bail, Tammiah failed to appear before the court for more than 10 years. The court had issued non bailable warrant against Tammaih.
He was arrested on September 28 from a hide out in Surathkal. He was produced on September 29 before the jurisdictional Magistrate, who remanded him to judicial custody.
