After earning praise on the international stage, actor Kirti Kulhari’s latest film Full Plate is set for its India premiere at the 14th Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF), running from October 30 to November 2.

Directed by actor-filmmaker Tannishtha Chatterjee, Full Plate made its world premiere at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival and later opened the Indian Film Festival of Sydney. Now, the acclaimed drama will finally be screened for Indian audiences in the heart of the Himalayas.
Reflecting on the film’s journey, Kirti Kulhari said, “After travelling across international shores, Full Plate is finally coming home — and I couldn’t have asked for a more special homecoming than the Dharamshala International Film Festival.” She added,
“There’s something deeply moving about sharing this story with audiences in India, where its emotions and essence truly belong. DIFF feels like the perfect place for Full Plate — rooted, thoughtful, and full of heart. I’m grateful that our India premiere will take place amidst the beauty of the mountains and the warmth of Dharamshala.”
In Full Plate, Kirti Kulhari plays the role of a spirited homemaker with a remarkable talent for cooking. The film follows her journey as she navigates societal expectations, patriarchy, and outdated traditions — all while holding on to her identity and resilience. It’s a story of food, faith, and the unyielding strength of the human spirit.
The film also stars Sharib Hashmi, Indraneil Sengupta, and Monica Dogra in key roles. It is produced by Ashutosh Goswami and Anup Chitnis (Ashutosh Entertainments), along with Mohaan Nadaar and Ketki Pandit (Teamo HQ Productions Ltd).
Full Plate marks Kirti Kulhari’s third feature film release of the year, following the ZEE5 drama Hisaab Barabar and the theatrical action-comedy Badass Ravikumar. She will next be seen in the much-anticipated Four More Shots Please! Season 4, returning to her fan-favourite role.
