Over 200 members of the nutritious meal and the anganwadi workers associations staged a protest in Dindigul on Tuesday urging the government to fulfil their charter of demands. They raised slogans demanding that the 10 point charter of demands be met.

The workers sought better pay, special pension and dearness allowance. They said there should be pay parity. Vacancies in various posts should be filled and the monthly pension should be provided to them, they said.

They demanded that the workers should be given timely promotion. They urged the government to fulfil their charter of demands. The workers boycotted their work.
