Ankanahalli in Saligrama taluk of Mysuru district recorded a maximum rainfall of 86.5 mm in the last 24 hours ending at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Nagamangala taluk in Mandya district received 86 mm of rainfall. Both Mysuru and Mandya districts experienced heavy rains in the past 24 hours. Moderate to heavy showers lashed Mysuru city on Wednesday evening, leading to flooding in several low-lying areas.
In Kodagu district, Siddapura recorded 103.5 mm of rainfall, which was the third-highest in the State during the period after Ramakunja in Puttur taluk (150.5 mm) and Samse in Kalasa taluk (113 mm), according to data accessed from the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre.
In Chamarajanagar district, Shivapura in Gundlupet taluk recorded 76.5 mm of rainfall.
