The District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW) is seeking a specialist in financial literacy for the district office here. The DHEW is set up under the Mission Shakti programme under the Ministry of Women and Child Development. The district hubs are set up with the aim of supporting and coordinating various women-centric services and also to help organise financial literacy and empowerment of women in rural areas.
The DHEW in Krishnagiri has called for applications for filling up of the post of specialist in financial literacy. The contractual post calls for an educational qualification graduation in banking, economics or other similar disciplines. Post-graduation will be preferred. The applicant shall have a minimum of three years experience in working with governmental/non-governmental organisations working on financial literacy and inclusion. The position entails a salary of ₹21,000.
