
Salman Khan in ‘Battle of Galwan’ teaser

The teaser of Salman Khan’s upcoming film, Battle of Galwan was unveiled by the makers on Saturday, December 27, 2025 on the occasion of the superstar’s 60th birthday. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film also stars Chitrangada Singh and is set to be released in theatres on April 17, 2026.
The 1 minute 12 seconds teaser opens with a voice over of Salman as he narrates a patriotic dialogue over visuals of the valley in Ladakh. Then the actor is seen walking valiantly towards the enemy with the entire army behind him. He raises a stick and gets ready to engage. A sea of Chinese troops are seen running towards him. The teaser ends with him saying, “Maut se kya darna, ussey toh aana hai (Why be afraid of death when it is inevitable)”.

The much-anticipated film is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict between India and China where soldiers from both sides used stones and clubs to fight due to previous bilateral agreements between the countries.
The film features music by Himesh Reshammiya. It is backed by Salma Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films.
