K.V. Vasudevan was re-elected as the president of Brahmin Educational Society (BES) at the organisation’s 46th annual general body meeting held at BES Higher Secondary School, Noorani, on Sunday.
N.N. Krishnan was elected secretary, B. Jayarajan as vice-president and R. Vaidyanathan joint secretary. N.V. Sivaramakrishnan was elected treasurer.

Mr. Vasudevan presided over the meeting. Mr. Krishnan presented a report. The meeting decided to celebrate the silver jubilee of BES Bharati Theeratha Vidyalaya at Kallekkad, and the centenary of Lakshmi Nilayam Sanskrit UP School, Nenmara.
