Bold and the Beautiful Wednesday Spoilers: Fashion House Rivalries Heat Up
Let’s talk about Wednesday, January 14th on B&B. At Forrester Creations, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) talks to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about hiring Dylan (Sydney Bullock). She is an artist. She has some talent.
Somebody had pointed out this week on soap social media that it’s kind of funny they can bring RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) back and hire him, and hire Dylan but they didn’t have the money for Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone).
Anyway, Steffy also later tells Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) and Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) there may be a job. It looks good. Dylan’s all excited and talking about the three of them working together, and Will is going to be happy for her.
Electra seems less than happy, like she’s on and off enthusiastic. Has anybody noticed the inconsistencies with her when it comes to Dylan? Meanwhile, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) tries to keep things peaceful between Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom), but it’s not going to be easy.
Brooke is going to be upset when she finds out Eric is helping Katie. Brooke’s latest tactic is saying that by starting this fashion house, it is something that Katie is doing to Brooke, not doing for herself. Brooke has pulled out this victim card that I don’t necessarily understand or appreciate.
Eric Forrester’s Secret Mentor Role and R.J.’s Surprising Return on B&B
On Thursday, January 15th, we’ve got Eric and Donna heading up to Logan to look things over. Katie sits down with Eric and tells him she doesn’t want to pit him against Ridge. He tells Katie that he wants this. This is either Eric offering to mentor her as the CEO of this new fashion house, or he might be offering his design services.
I would love to see him show up to see Katie with his sketchbook to show her that whole couture line that Ridge refuses to look at. Eric and Donna both agree it is the best work of Eric’s career, and it would be a shame for it not to go into production.
RJ is back in L.A. on Thursday and he’s telling Ridge and Brooke about his trip. This is the trip we never knew he went on because they just abruptly exited the last actor. Ridge and Brooke are ecstatic that their son is home, but Will is going to be annoyed with RJ pretty soon.
Brooke tells RJ how much she missed him. Later this week, he crosses paths with Electra. RJ gets really close to Electra when he puts a necklace on her. There’s a flirty vibe that Will is definitely not going to appreciate.
Friday Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Katie Stuns Bill Spencer and Brooke Investigates
On Friday, January 16th, we’ve got Brooke trying to put the pieces together about something. I wonder if Ridge and Brooke have heard that Katie has hired a designer. Ridge was just saying that there’s no way that Katie can make a success of Logan without a world-class designer.
Ridge is quite confident that prototype Katie will not be able to hire one, while one may have walked right in her door. We may also have Brooke wondering if Deacon has a crush on another woman after hearing news from Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).
Katie absolutely stuns Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) on Friday. If she has landed Eric as a lead designer, that is going to be huge. Even if Eric has only agreed to be a mentor for now, it’s still a major move. I think Bill is going to be tickled pink.
Any level of involvement that Eric has with Katie and her new company is going to make Ridge furious. That is going to bring Bill all the joy because he loves poking and prodding the dressmaker. He won’t mind paying the dressmaker’s dad to come to Logan because Eric is a good designer and it’ll rub Ridge the wrong way.
New Casting Details and the R.J. vs. Will Rivalry
Also on Friday, Brooke and Ridge are going to fill RJ in on their new fashion rival. You know Brooke and Ridge’s son will take his parents’ side against Bill and Katie’s new company. Plus, RJ’s interest in Electra is going to kick up the rivalry between RJ and Will.
Brayan Nicoletti said in a recent interview that when they brought him in to read for his audition, he read with Thorsten Kaye and Laneya Grace. This clearly tells you where the story is going regarding the connection between Ridge and Electra.
The Week of January 19-23: Taylor’s Heart and Sheila’s Suspicion on Bold and the Beautiful
The week of January 19th through the 23rd, we’ll see more of Steffy being vigilant. She wants to make sure that Taylor stays away from Deacon. The problem is that Deacon and Hope are going to be encouraging Deacon to follow his heart straight over to Taylor.
When Steffy finds out that they are pushing this romance, she’s going to be furious. Deacon obviously knows falling for Taylor will bring her some danger, but his feelings are strong.
Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), meanwhile, is on high alert. She may soon go back to following Deacon around, spying on him and trying to see if he’s met another woman. Psycho Sheila will want to know who it is that she needs to destroy.
Katie’s Offer to Eric Forrester and the Future of Logan Fashion on B&B
Deke should be getting a formal offer of employment from Katie soon. I’m sure he will be five times as excited if he finds out that he gets to work with the legendary Eric Forrester. Plus, Katie is going to offer Eric the chance to get his mojo back on Bold and the Beautiful.
He’s going to have a lot of new energy being over at Logan, the same kind of energy he had when he was starting Forrester Creations. I was just laughing listening to Ridge talking about how hard it is to start a fashion house. He inherited one; he didn’t start one. He is a nepo baby.
All the smack talk about Katie ignores that she’s doing something Ridge hasn’t done. Donna is going to be thrilled that her honey bear Eric has something new and shiny to make him happy, but she’s also going to be stressed about the drama and fallout.
Upcoming Wedding Bells and Steffy’s Big Plans
If Eric does agree to be Katie’s lead designer, I expect them to reveal it at the Logan fashion show rather than straight away. Obviously, Brooke’s going to be grilling Donna about who Katie has hired at Logan and how things are going over there.
Donna is going to be in a tough spot. Meanwhile, Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) want to move fast forward now that they are engaged. Look for a wedding coming soon. Maybe they’ll start trying for a family right now.
Deke and Hope try and figure out how to do some matchmaking for Deacon and Taylor. The Forrester versus Spencer rivalry heats up. Daylan is going to be starting a job at Forrester Creations soon, and Taylor can’t shake her feelings for Deacon even though she’s going to try.
