Two men accused of carrying out last week’s deadly mass shooting on Bondi Beach recorded a video condemning “Zionists”, police allege in court documents released on Monday (December 22, 2025).
A video file found on one of the accused’s phone shows the two sitting in front of an Islamic State flag, reciting a passage from the Koran and making statements “regarding their motivation for the ‘Bondi attack’”, the police documents said.

Police have alleged that two men accused of carrying out last week’s deadly mass shooting on Bondi beach trained for the attack in the Australian countryside, according to court documents.
Sajid and Naveed Akram, the father and son duo accused of carrying out the killings, also made a “reconnaissance” trip to Bondi beach just days before the mass shooting, the police documents said.
