Brittany Snow’s Ex-Husband Tyler Stanaland Engaged to Girlfriend


Brittany Snow’s ex-husband, Tyler Stanaland, is engaged to his girlfriend, Hannah Morrissey.

“Last week, in the very place we road tripped to shortly after we first met, I asked the best person I’ve ever known for forever,” Stanaland, 36, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, October 16. “Our little family just got a whole lot more official. 💒”

Stanaland’s post included a video of him, Morrissey and their dog at a lookout point over the ocean in Moonstone Beach in Cambria, California. The clip included the couple sharing a kiss and Morrissey showing off her ring.

“When the right person enters your life, it’s not just love, it’s a transformation,” the Selling the OC star continued. “All the uncertainties are replaced with peace and partnership. And when you’re also aligned on all the important things it’s absolute magic. I have never had more fun or been more inspired and challenged in all the best ways. My cup is absolutely overflowing by this beautiful little family we’re creating.”

Us Weekly reported in May that Stanaland and Morrissey were dating.

“Tyler is very happily dating Hannah. While it’s relatively new, they’re having a lot of fun,” a source exclusively told Us at the time. “They’ve been traveling a bit together, and Tyler’s really happy.”

That same month, Stanaland hard launched his and Morrissey’s relationship.

“Polaroids from paradise. Adventures have been 11/10 as of late,” he wrote via Instagram alongside a series of snaps that included Morrissey. “CA -> Palm Springs -> Baja -> Oahu 📸.”

Before Morrissey, Stanaland was married to Snow. The exes tied the knot in March 2020 after two years of dating. After the first season of Selling the OC, which premiered in 2022, Stanaland made headlines for his flirty behavior and alleged incidents with his costars Alex Hall and Kayla Cardona.

In September 2022, Stanaland announced that he and Snow had separated after two years of marriage.

“After time and consideration, Britt and I have made the difficult decision to separate. This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another,” Stanaland wrote via Instagram at the time.

Snow filed for divorce in January 2023 and their divorce was finalized in August of that same year. The Hunting Wives actress opened up about the tough split in a March 2024 interview on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast.

“What happened, happened, and I think what it’s alluded to in the press is true,” Snow reflected. “There was a marriage there. There was so much love. I think that gray is hard to understand because it’s much more salacious and interesting that it’s just like, he did this, and she did this.”

Following Snow’s podcast appearance, Stanaland took to social media to share that he was never unfaithful to her.

“Relationships are complex even without public attention and speculation,” he wrote via his Instagram Story at the time. “A mutual commitment was made, both personally and legally, to never speak about the complexities of my marriage publicly and I plan to honor that.”
