BSF jawans take out flag march; accompany police in vehicle check

The much-awaited election fever started here as the Border Security Force (BSF) jawans, who have arrived here from Chhattisgarh as part of the upcoming Assembly election security arrangements to be made ahead of the polls, took flag march here along with the police and accompanied the law-enforcers in vehicle checks organised at several places on Tuesday.

After being flagged-off at Kurukkuthurai, the flag march traversed several busy commercial and residential areas of Tirunelveli to allay security concerns, instil confidence among the voters and ensure free and fair polls.
