The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the launch of a special “Diwali bonanza” mobile prepaid promotional plan.
According to BSNL General Manager P. Loganathan, this initiative has been designed to offer exceptional value and encourage new customer adoption across its 4G network during the festive period.
Priced at an unprecedented ₹1, the promotional plan provides new subscribers with a comprehensive mobile service package valid for 30 days. The benefits include unlimited voice calls (local/STD), 2 GB of high-speed data per day and 100 SMS per day.
The offer is available till November 15 and the plan is open to new BSNL customers, including those utilising mobile number portability (MNP) to join the BSNL network.
Also, the BSNL has announced the launch of e-SIM (Embedded-Subscriber Identity Module) services for its customers in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, who possessed mobile handsets/devices compatible with e-SIM technology.
Both new and existing BSNL customers could avail this service and to activate their e-SIM, customers must visit their nearest BSNL Customer Service Centre to complete the necessary KYC (Know Your Customer) process after which it would be activated by simply scanning a QR code, Mr Loganathan said.
