Chennai Mayor R. Priya chaired a review meeting on Monday at the Ripon Buildings regarding the implementation status of the budget announcements made by the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC).
She discussed the progress of work initiated under various schemes. Deputy Mayor M. Magesh Kumaar, Commissioner J. Kumaragurubaran, and officials were present at the meeting.
She also said stormwater drain work in critical locations, across the city, is done on priority, such as in areas where hip-deep water stagnation during heavy rain was noted.
