Ten persons, including children and women, were injured after an autorickshaw they were travelling in overturned near Rajadhani in Andipatti.
According to police, Shanmugapriya and her relatives were on their way in the autorickshaw to attend her son’s school annual day function.
The driver Muthupandi lost control of the autorickshaw and the vehicle overturned near Kanniappapillaipatti. The injured were rushed to Theni Government Medical College Hospital for treatment.
The Rajadhani police have registered a case and are investigating.
