AFP identified a series of clickbait websites that falsely accused multiple celebrities, including Formula One driver Max Verstappen and tennis star Novak Djokovic, of speaking out against Pride celebrations. The articles do not cite official sources, have several factual inconsistencies and contain characteristics of AI-generated “slop” and low-quality content designed to generate revenue through online advertising. There is no evidence Verstappen, Djokovic or any other celebrities mentioned made the remarks attributed to them.
