CREDAI property fair opens in Tiruchi

The 10th edition of FAIRPRO, the annual property fair hosted by the Tiruchi chapter of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) began in Tiruchi on Friday.

Around 29 builders have set shop at the fair showcasing their projects and properties, right from the mid-range to the ultra-luxury in the price range o f ₹30 lakh to ₹5 crore.

About 10 interior design and construction materials, vendors too have set up stalls displaying a range of products. Six stalls are by bankers offering guidance on home loans and financial planning. Special offers are on offer from builders and banks for spot bookings.

R.S. Ravi, Chairman, CREDAI, Tiruchi, said the property fair had generated business worth ₹12 crore last year and they were expecting business to the tune to ₹15-18 crore this year.

“The Tiruchi market is looking good and the industry was expecting it to expand further with more infrastructure projects such as the ring road and the implementation of the Master Plan in the pipeline,” said Mr. Ravi.

The three-day fair was inaugurated by Minister for Municipal Administration and Water Supply K. N. Nehru in the presence of Mayor M. Anbazhagan, District Collector V. Saravanan, Corporation Commissioner L. Madhubalan.

W.S. Habib, president, CREDAI, Tamil Nadu, R. Manoharan and M. Ilamurugan, president and secretary, respectively of CREDAI, Tiruchi, and A. Nazurudeen, chairman, Fairpro 2025, and others were present.

The fair at Kalaiarangam will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Entry is free.
