Smooth and successful
The minister said the event was successful and common devotees from different parts of the state had a smooth darshana of the deity, though they had to stand in queues for a long time on many days. The cooperation of the elected representatives, the administration and the public was significant.
“This time, we had streamlined the entry of VIPs to the temple. The VIPs also cooperated the administration by adhering to the restrictions. In a couple of incidents, the VIPs, who arrived beyond the time meant for them, entered the temple by other queues meant for the public,” he stated.
Lok Sabha member Shreyas M. Patel, Arasikere MLA K.M. Shivalinge Gowda, Hassan MLA H.P. Swaroop, DC K.S. Lathakumari, Zilla Panchayat CEO B.R. Poornima, SP Mohammed Sujeetha and others were present.
