Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Hyderabad outskirts
A total of 35 flights were cancelled at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) on Tuesday (October 28, 2025), as Cyclone Montha moved closer to the Andhra Pradesh coast, disrupting air operations to coastal destinations. Most of the affected flights were bound for or arriving from Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, and Vijayawada.
IndiGo was most impacted, cancelling 15 arrivals and 15 departures. Affected services included routes between Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, and Vijayawada, key coastal sectors currently facing heavy rain and strong winds due to the cyclone’s influence.
