Days of Our Lives spoilers for Oct 27-31, 2025 reveal Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) getting dumped and Hank Northrop making his debut.
And of course, he’s the son of Wayne Northrop who played Roman Brady from 1981 to 1991, and then Dr. Alex North from 2005-2006.
So, his son is joining the cast, and Wayne passed away late in 2024 due to complications of Alzheimer’s. As we always do on early edition day, we’ll talk about what’s coming the rest of this week, then dive into what’s ahead for next week.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Stephanie Ready to Come Clean
On Wednesday, October 22nd, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) plan for the big reveal that she’s Anastasia Sans and the upcoming release of her murder mystery book. Plus, Jeremy Horton (Trevor Donovan) connects with Thomas DiMera (Christopher Cary), who’s his student. We may see him opening up to Jeremy about Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) and his dad, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).
Dr. Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) is out on parole and back in Salem. He visits hospital owner EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). Cat’s brother may be asking to return as a doctor despite previous charges for attempted murder on EJ’s brother. Mark might end up at the free clinic if not allowed in the main hospital. EJ and Mark could shake on something — rehiring or just a conversation of thanks. EJ does like Cat, so it’s a tall order.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Holly & Ari Face the Music
Meanwhile, Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) catches Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) in the basement construction zone of the free clinic and the secret lab. Leo had cut into the drywall to rescue Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). Rita, in a hard hat, finds him spying and goes off. She FaceTimes EJ on Wednesday to report the incident and delivers an important envelope.
EJ and Leo have a serious conversation at the pub, while EJ meets Chad for lunch to discuss family struggles. EJ may reveal his meeting with Mark, his would-be killer. On Thursday, October 23rd, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Arianna Horton (Marissa Reyes) face the college disciplinary committee over the accidental dorm fire. There’s no proof Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) supplied extra alcohol, but they could face fines, community service, or academic probation.
Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) begins remembering past events, worrying Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) may confirm recent paternity test results that Tate (Leo Howard) isn’t the dad — Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) is. Sarah may also advise Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) about Sophia’s mental health spiral, potentially requiring inpatient care at Bayview.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Sarah Leaves Xander
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Tate Black (Leo Howard) deal with the revelation that the adopted baby isn’t theirs. Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) grills Xander about the infamous Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) beatdown. On Friday, October 24th, Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) and Leo run into Amy, giving her more FaceTime with her grandson, Tesoro. Sophia’s approval for Amy holding the baby is uncertain.
Alex and Stephanie confront past demons. Alex loses his temper when they run into Jeremy in Horton Town Square, accusing him of exposing her as Anastasia Sans, although it was actually EJ whispering to Leo. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) express fears about adopting little Tesoro due to Sophia’s selective mutism and breakdown. Sarah finally gets the truth from Xander, who confesses to beating his brother. She kicks him out, removes her ring, and ends the relationship.
Days of Our Lives: A New Face in Salem
For the week of October 27th through the 31st, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) begins tutoring Liam (Hank Northrop), who used to bully Abe’s son, Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson), at school. Theo has on-spectrum issues, and this tension will be a recurring theme. Theo may resist Abe’s tutoring, especially since Abe is connected to the DiMeras.
Days of Our Lives: Character Crossroads — Sophia’s Breakdown, Chad’s Past, and Rachel’s Memories
Sophia may head to Bayview. Her performance is convincing enough that Sarah and Marlena both believe she’s had a real nervous breakdown. Chad may face an uncomfortable encounter with Dr. Mark Greene. Thomas might leave Salem in frustration over Chad’s involvement with Cat, who pretended to be his deceased mother, Abigail Deveraux.
Cady McClain exited Days of Our Lives months ago, so any absence may be handled off-screen. Rachel’s memories of the night she shot EJ are returning, and she’s likely to act on them. She’s headed to Bayview to cover the exit of an actress who may have left the show permanently.
Days of Our Lives: Halloween Mayhem and November Sweeps
Alex and Stephanie plan to reveal news about her murder mystery novel. Jeremy’s transformation will be explored. Someone attempts to attack Cat and Chad on Halloween, but Alex intervenes. This may be a one-off Halloween episode or a dream sequence. November sweeps begin October 30th and 31st, with EJ’s hospital lab plans unfolding and the gala launch of the Dr. Tom Horton (Zach Chyz) Free Clinic approaching.
