Students should nurture original thinking and develop the habit of critical thinking, said M. Ashok Vardhan Shetty, Member, Tamil Nadu High-Level Committee on Union-State Relations, here on Saturday.
They should be continuous learners, cultivate the right attitude, and build mental toughness, he said delivering the convocation address at the Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science and Technology, deemed to be a university, near here on Saturday. These five traits would help them navigate their career and live successfully, the former IAS officer said.
A total of 1,738 graduates, across diverse disciplines, received their degree certificates at the Convocation wherein Chancellor K. Veeramani presented Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) to the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Transen Dynamics, Kennithraj Anbu. Vice- Chancellor V. Ramachandran presented a report.
