DGP Sandeep Rai Rathore awarded doctorate for research on disaster mitigation 

The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has awarded a doctorate to Sandeep Rai Rathore, Director General of Police, Training, for his research on Disaster Mitigation and Management. The 1992 batch IPS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre focused his research on major issues and challenges in the current disaster response system and the solutions to overcome the same. He also developed a comprehensive policy framework on disaster response.
