Dindigul Collector S. Saravanan, Theni Collector Ranjeet Singh, Sivaganga Collector K. Porkodi and Ramanathapuram Collector Simranjeet Singh Kahlon released the draft electoral rolls on Friday.
The seven Assembly constituencies in Dindigul district had a total of 16,09,553 voters of which 8,24,921 were women, 7,84,467 were men and 165 transgenders.
A total of 3,24,894 voters whose names have been removed from the voters list are that of 47,783 untraceable or absentees; 1,44,816 permanently shifted; 1,07,991 dead voters. A total of 20,182 already enrolled voters and 4,122 others were removed from the list.
The four Assembly constituencies in Theni district had a total of 10,04,564 voters of which 5,15,440 were women, 4,88,962 were men and 162 transgenders.
A total of 1,25,739 voters whose names have been removed from the voters list are that of 6,303 untraceable or absentees; 60,215 permanently shifted; 49,326 dead voters. A total of 9,587 already enrolled voters and 308 others were removed from the list.
The four Assembly constituencies in Ramanathapuram district had a total of 10,91,326 voters of which 5,49,939 were women, 5,41,332 were men and 55 transgenders.
A total of 1,17,364 voters whose names have been removed from the voters list are that of 56,501 permanently shifted; 51,439 dead voters. A total of 9,424 already enrolled voters were removed from the list.
The four Assembly constituencies in Sivaganga district had a total of 10,79,105 voters of which 5,49,437 were women, 5,29,634 were men and 34 transgenders.
A total of 1,50,828 voters whose names have been removed from the voters list are that of 6,945 untraceable or absentees; 63,454 permanently shifted; 73,887 dead voters. A total of 6,353 already enrolled voters and 189 others were removed from the list.
