Around 5,000 students have registered for Delhi University’s job fair on October 8, organised by the central placement cell, an official said on Tuesday.

Fifty-one companies are expected to participate in the fair, offering a total of 300 internships and job opportunities.

The participating companies include Muthoot Finance, Axis IIT/NEET, Bajaj Capital, Bajaj Allianz, Innodata India Pvt. Ltd., TAK Technologies Pvt. Ltd., and Arihant Publications (India) Ltd.

Of the 51 companies, 13 will conduct their interviews and placements online, while the rest will participate in person. Organisers have requested that interested students bring their CVs and identity cards.

Last year, over 1,000 students received placements or internships. The job fair is conducted twice a year: once in the mid-session and again at the session’s end. The fair is open to students of all batches, as internships are also provided.
