HYDERABAD
Investment agreements worth ₹3,24,698 crore in the energy sector were signed at the two-day Telangana Rising 2047 Global Summit.
According to the office of the Deputy Chief Minister M. Bhatti Vikramarka who handles the portfolio of Energy too, the offer of huge investments was proving that Telangana is a paradise for investors.
Mr. Vikramarka has been working with his department officials for over the past few days to attract large-scale investments and create vast employment opportunities for Telangana’s youth. He conducted multiple review meetings with senior officials and personally monitored the progress of the agreements.
As a result of these efforts the investment agreements worth nearly ₹3.25 lakh crore were finalised in just two days. They have employment potential of over 1.5 lakh. Genco, Redco and Singareni entered into significant agreements with various national and international companies, the Deputy CM’s office said.
