Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios’ upcoming war drama 120 Bahadur is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated films of the year. Following the impactful teaser and poster that offered a glimpse into its inspiring story, the makers are now gearing up to unveil the first song from the film — the patriotic anthem ‘Dada Kishan Ki Jai’. The track will be launched at a grand event in Lucknow, marking the beginning of the film’s musical promotions.

The anthem, composed and produced by Salim-Sulaiman, written by Javed Akhtar, and sung by Sukhwinder Singh, captures the emotional essence of the film. ‘Dada Kishan Ki Jai’ is described as the spirit and war cry of 120 Bahadur, designed to evoke deep pride and patriotism while honouring the courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers. The song’s energy and sentiment are expected to set the tone for the rest of the musical album.
Farhan Akhtar, who essays the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, in the film, shares a long-standing connection with Sukhwinder Singh — from their earlier collaboration on Bhaag Milkha Bhaag to now reuniting for 120 Bahadur. Their creative reunion adds an emotional layer to the anthem’s launch, making the Lucknow event even more special.
The grand launch event will also be attended by director Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, along with the team of 120 Bahadur including producers Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios).
120 Bahadur brings to screen the remarkable true story of 120 Indian soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment, who displayed unmatched courage during the legendary Battle of Rezang La in 1962. At its core, the film carries a powerful message — “Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge” — a line that echoes the indomitable spirit of these heroes.
Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced under the banners of Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios, the film is slated for a theatrical release on November 21, 2025.
