Forest Dept. officer seen playing game on his phone during meeting; Minister directs DC to issue him a notice

In a quick response to the video clip of an officer of the Forest Department playing a game on his mobile during the Karnataka Development Programme meeting held in Raichur on Friday, Minister for Medical Education and District in-charge Sharan Prakash Patil heavily came down on him for “indecent” behaviour in the important meeting and sent him out from the meeting hall.

The release said that in the incident Deputy Conservator of Forest Praveen was seen playing a a game on his mobile while Dr. Patil was chairing the meeting and giving instructions to the participating officers. The incident was telecasted by a private news channel. 

Reacting to the incident, the Minister sharply attacked the officer and sent him out from the meeting hall. He further directed the Deputy Commissioner, Nitish K., to send a notice to him on his “indecent” behaviour and also submit a report to the government for disciplinary action.
