Appealing to passengers to switch to digital ticketing, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM), Solapur Division, Yogesh Patil, has urged rail users to download the RailOne app and avail themselves of a 3% discount on unreserved ticket bookings, as part of a push for cashless transactions and passenger convenience.
Under the initiative announced by the Solapur Division of Central Railway, passengers booking unreserved tickets through digital payment modes on the RailOne app, excluding the R-Wallet, will receive a 3% discount, while those using the R-Wallet will continue to get a 3% cashback bonus.
The incentive scheme will be in force till July 14, 2026.
Sharing details of the scheme, Senior Public Relations Inspector, Solapur Division, S. Vikram A.K., said that the move is aimed at encouraging wider adoption of digital ticketing and reducing cash transactions at railway stations.
He added that the RailOne app offers a seamless, fast and transparent platform for booking unreserved tickets.
The RailOne app, an all-in-one digital platform, can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
Passengers have been advised to travel with valid tickets booked through authorised digital platforms to avoid inconvenience.
