Halloween Horror Nights 2025 Maze Ranking

Concept: Inspired by the slasher film franchise that brings the twisted world of Art the Clown to life.

Crystal: This was the most highly anticipated haunted house of the night for me (and, apparently, everyone, because the wait was 120 minutes for basically the entire night). If I’m being honest, I don’t think the Terrifier films are ~the greatest~, but I cannot deny that Art the Clown has had a meteoric rise as a new icon of horror — and I am here for that. This house had a warning out front about water effects (the Universal Orlando version even has the option of going through a “dry” path vs. a “wet” one — which is not the case in Hollywood), so I was mentally prepared to get doused. That didn’t happen, but there were definitely some nasty, damp moments that had me shouting. I’ll sum up this experience with what you should be prepared for: bleach smells, poop smells, dirty underwear, extreme gore, jump scares, and a hilariously good time courtesy of Art. It’s the Terrifier film franchise in a nutshell…or rather, gutshell. Scariness: 3.5/5, Creativity: 5/5

Darren: This house was all the buzz of the night. And though it was very well done, it was more fun than it was scary. Art the Clown is a creepy and gruesome maniac, but instead of screaming at his mutilations, the crowds laughed and cheered him on. If you like the idea of a dozen people clapping at a man’s head being turned into a Pez dispenser, you’ve come to the right place. Scariness: 3/5, Creativity: 4.5/5

Scare Rating: 6.5/10

Creativity Rating: 9.5/10

TOTAL: 8/10
