HBO has dropped the first trailer for I Love LA, the upcoming comedy series created by and starring Rachel Sennott, and it promises a caustic, chaotic look at ambition and friendship in the age of influencers.

Sennott plays Maia, a hustling assistant at a Hollywood talent management firm who’s desperate for a promotion and validation in a city that measures worth by social capital. Her carefully constructed life starts to unravel when Tallulah (Odessa A’zion), a former best friend turned viral influencer, bursts back into her world.
The ensemble cast includes Jordan Firstman, True Whitaker, Leighton Meester, Moses Ingram, Elijah Wood, and Froy Gutierrez, with Sennott also serving as creator, co-director, and executive producer. Lorene Scafaria (Hustlers), Bill Benz (The Nowhere Inn), and Kevin Bray (Succession) share directing duties.
I Love LA marks Sennott’s latest evolution from breakout indie star to creative powerhouse. The eight-episode series premieres November 3 on JioHotstar, with episodes streaming weekly through December 21.
