The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay will host the second National Wellbeing Conclave on November 22 and 23 at its Powai campus. The event, organised by the Ministry of Education, will bring together students, faculty and administrators from higher education institutions across the country to discuss mental health and wellbeing in academic settings.

The two-day meeting will focus on the theme, ‘Integrated Approach for Promoting Mental Health, Resilience and Wellbeing.’ Sessions will include panel discussions, workshops and interactive activities led by experts in mental health and education. In a statement, organisers said the conclave aims to help institutions develop systems that support emotional wellbeing and resilience among students and staff.

A compendium of wellbeing practices from campuses across India will be released during the event. An exhibition will showcase student-led and institution-driven initiatives, while workshops will encourage participants to share ideas and strategies for creating supportive environments.

The conclave will also examine how policies can be translated into everyday practices, early identification of psychosocial concerns, and collaborative frameworks involving students, faculty and administrators.
