Taylor Swift fans won’t want to miss Halloween Week on Dancing With the Stars — according to Jen Affleck and Jan Ravnik.
The pair previewed their spooky plans during an interview with Us Weekly after their Tuesday, October 21, performance. “It’s a surprise, just so you know,” teased Affleck, 26. “It’s for all the Swifties.”
When asked if that meant a possible cameo from Swift herself, Ravnik played coy. “You’ll have to see,” he told Us.
Before joining DWTS as a first-time pro this season, Ravnik was one of Swift’s Eras Tour dancers. In typical Swiftie fashion, fans have wondered whether any Easter eggs have been dropped throughout Ravnik’s DWTS journey.
During the season 34 premiere in September, Ravnik and Affleck rocked sparkly orange costumes for their salsa, just as Swift, 35, began using the color to promote her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl. The following week, Ravnik and Affleck hit the ballroom floor in mint green outfits — another Showgirl era color — so Us had to ask if the choices were intentional.
“I’m going to say we are supporting,” Ravnik said after the September 23 episode, adding that he and Affleck would be streaming Swift’s album “24/7.”

When it comes to the costumes, Ravnik told Us, “It’s not just in our hands, it’s also [the costume] department. But we were very excited with the color.”
Ravnik has remained relatively tight-lipped about his experience with Swift as he and Affleck compete for the mirrorball trophy. Before the season began, fellow pro Ezra Sosa joked he wanted all the Eras Tour tea.
“I asked if there’s an NDA and he said no,” Sosa, 24, exclusively told Us in September. “So I said, ‘Oh, this is gonna be fun for me.’”
Rather than relive the glory days of tour, Ravnik is focused on giving Affleck the best chance to win. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star told Us on Tuesday that she felt “great” about what the pair achieved on stage despite the tough competition.
“This week was really hard. It was really challenging,” she explained. “Honestly, I think this routine pushed me more than any other routine, and so the fact that we were able to get through the dance and do it well and gracefully was a blessing.”

The duo performed a foxtrot to “As Long As You’re Mine” by Cynthia Erivo and Jonathan Bailey in honor of Wicked Night, earning a total score of 32 with eights across the board. While judging the dance, Derek Hough told Affleck and Ravnik not to forget about the basics.
“Honestly, I thought what he said was valid,” Affleck told Us. “I do think there’s a combination of, you know, incorporating harder choreography, while at the same time, using techniques and skills that can help me in the routine. But honestly, I asked for the challenge, and I’m grateful for the challenge.”
Ravnik added that he’s fully supportive of Affleck’s ambitious goals. “I mean, I am here to do whatever she’s gonna say, and that’s it,” he told Us. “She’s the boss. I’m just employed here.”
Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
