Did your favorite social media influencer make TIME’s top creator list?

More than 5.3 billion people worldwide use social media according to social media data tracker Kapios, so TIME looked at far more than the sheer number of social media followers each influencer has.

Here’s a look at TIME’s top social media creator list.

Alex Earle, Kai Cenat make TIME’s top 100 creator list

TIME broke down its first-ever top 100 social media creator list into five categories: catalysts, entertainers, leaders, phantoms and titans. TIME also included an overall list.

Kai Cenat, Jimmy Donaldson, Olivia Dunne, Alex Earle, Sean Evans and Khabane “Khaby” Lame were the first six social media creators listed in TIME’s Titans category.

“With 18 million followers, the 23-year-old is, by many metrics, the most popular performer on the Amazon-owned streaming platform Twitch — and one of the internet’s biggest personalities,” TIME wrote about Cenat. “Cenat entertains his audience by acting out improvised skits, playing video games, delivering monologues about music or fashion, and interviewing pop culture icons.”

TIME considered Earle to be the internet’s “It” girl with more than 12 million combined followers on Instagram and TikTok who follow Earle for her product reviews and videos during which she discusses mental health and other issues.

Lame, who recently self-deported after being detained by ICE in May, is known for his silent social media reactions to current events.

“Often likened to a Gen-Z Charlie Chaplin, the Senegalese-born Italian social media personality usesno words — only his expressive, often exasperated face — to highlight the absurdity of videos that claim to simplify everyday tasks but only end up overcomplicating things,” read TIME’s write-up on Lame. “His deadpan responses to tutorials on how to park a car in Amsterdam, peel a banana, and do the dishes without getting wet helped him dethrone Charli D’Amelio for the title of TikTok’s most-followed creator in 2022”

Joe Rogan, Heidi Wong make TIME’s top creator list, no Druski?

Familiar names made TIME’s top 100 creators list.

Joe Rogan, lead of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, made TIME’s list, as did “Horror Queen” Heidi Wong, who has 5.9 million TikTok followers and content sponsorship deals with Netflix, Paramount, Universal and Warner Bros.

Social media influencer Druski, however, did not make TIME’s top 100 creator list.
