The Kauvery Metabolic Wellness Centre was launched on the Kauvery Hospital premises in Alwarpet on Sunday, aimed at supporting long-term metabolic balance.
“We need to continously take a proactive approach, which is the intention behind the centre. We will address obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and lifestyle-related disorders through an integrated, multidisciplinary approach,” said K. Baraneedharan, senior diabetologist at Kauvery Hospital.
“The package will essentially bring together diabetologists, nutritionists, physiotherapists, psychologists — everyone under one roof — who will give personalised assessments for long-term metabolic balance,” he added.
Ishari K. Ganesh, founder and chancellor of Vels University, inaugurated the centre.
Aravindan Selvaraj, co-founder and executive director of Kauvery Group of Hospitals, was present.
